Getting money in and out of MSport

The cashier opens at GH₵1.00. MSport publishes no withdrawal minimum, which is a gap in what it says rather than an absence of a minimum.

Putting money in

  1. Register the wallet you will be paid into. MSport publishes three wallet rails: MTN Mobile Money, AirtelTigo Money, Telecel Cash. A payout is a merchant disbursement back to the number on the account, so the wallet you deposit from is the one that will receive winnings.
  2. Deposit at or above the floor. The cashier opens at GH₵1.00. A welcome offer qualifies from GH₵1.00, which is a separate threshold and higher on most books in this market.
  3. Expect no government levy on the transfer. No government levy sits on a mobile money transfer today. The electronic transfer levy was repealed on 2 April 2025 under the Electronic Transfer Levy (Repeal) Act, 2025 (Act 1128).
  4. The network you hold matters less than it looks. Money moves between the three wallet networks through the switch that GhIPSS runs behind all of them, so the network a payout lands on is rarely the network it has to stay on.

Taking money out

  1. Withdraw at or above the floor. MSport publishes no withdrawal minimum, which is a gap in what it says rather than an absence of a minimum.
  2. What the operator says about the wait. MSport says nothing about timing on any row we could read. The median on file, assembled from what the market publishes about this operator, is shown below with its source class.
  3. Check the ceiling that actually binds. A minimum-KYC wallet stops at GH₵3,000 a day and GH₵10,000 a month, and the monthly one cannot be worked around by splitting a payout across days. Only a KYC upgrade removes it.
  4. Take the bank route for a large win. This operator publishes no bank ceiling, so a payout above the wallet tier has to be split or the wallet upgraded.

Questions about MSport payments

What is the deposit code for MSport?

There is no separate code for depositing. A deposit at MSport is a mobile money transaction from the wallet registered on the account, started from the operator's own cashier. Any page offering a "deposit code" is describing either a promotional code, which is a different thing, or a mobile money short code belonging to the network rather than to the bookmaker. This record carries no promotional code at all.

What is the minimum deposit at MSport?

GH₵1.00 on the cashier rows the operator publishes.

Why has my payout not arrived even though MSport says it is instant?

The two most common reasons are not the bookmaker. A minimum-KYC mobile money wallet cannot receive more than GH₵3,000 in a day or GH₵10,000 in a month, and a payout over either ceiling has nowhere to land until the wallet is upgraded. The other is identity verification, which an operator can require before a first withdrawal.

Does MSport pay winnings back to a card?

No Ghanaian bookmaker in this ledger pays winnings back to a card. Cards fund an account where they are accepted at all; money comes back out over mobile money or, at the books that offer it, a bank transfer.
