Every figure on this site carries a stamp saying where it came from

Ghana has thirteen bookmakers trading and one that has gone. Nine of them publish a cashier this desk could read. Those nine are the ledger: 35 rows of what it costs to put money in, what it costs to take money out, and what the operator says happens in between. The other four are named on their own page rather than quietly missing.

What is on the books

The Payout Index

The rule this table is drawn by

The ledger carries a bookmaker once its cashier is on file: at least one payment rail read off the operator's own Ghanaian pages. Four books trading here are missing because nothing readable publishes theirs, and a ledger does not print entries it never recorded.

Nine bookmakers meet it, four trading here do not, and one brand in these records has left Ghana altogether. Every excluded book is named, with the reason.

Opening an account through a link in this table may pay us a commission. It has no effect on the order, which is computed from the figures printed beside each name.

The Payout Index, 0 to 100 points
# Bookmaker Cash out Floor Rails Model read Index Open an account

Floor is the smallest deposit that opens an account, in GH₵. Rails is the number of cashier rows the operator publishes. Model read is the share of the index this record could answer; anything under 60 per cent is not ranked at all.

OP Recorded. Read off the operator's own Ghanaian pages: a cashier screen, a terms clause, a licence footer or its own API.
CP Computed. Derived from a price feed the research pass pulled itself, with the sample size and the date on the record.
RP Reported. Published by somebody other than the operator, or agreed across several pages with no primary document behind any of them.
ES Estimated. Filled in by the research pass rather than found. It is not evidence, and this ledger prints it as a figure under protest rather than as a fact.
-- No entry. Nothing is on file. In this market that is usually a checked answer rather than a gap, and the page says which.

SportyBet leads on 78 of 100 points, having answered 100% of the model. The model is published in full, weight by weight, on the index page.

Four accounts this ledger does not carry

None of the four is excluded for being bad. Each is excluded because nothing readable publishes its cashier, which is a fact about our reach rather than about the bookmaker.

  • 1xBet serves its HTML only to Ghanaian addresses, so no cashier screen could be read; its odds feed answers from anywhere, which is why a margin exists on this site and a deposit minimum does not.
  • Melbet renders its payments detail in a script that never ran for us, and the withdrawal minimum quoted around it could not be confirmed on the operator's own site.
  • 22Bet names its rails first-party and attaches no stable figure to any of them: the minimum deposit is quoted at three different amounts and the minimum withdrawal at two.
  • Betwinner redirects every page to a block template outside Ghana, and the shell that comes back carries the block page's own furniture rather than the product.

The unrecorded page carries the detail, and the figures we hold and refuse to print.

The four accounts a Ghanaian punter actually asks about

What opens an account

The floor runs from GH₵1.00 at SportyBet to GH₵20 at Bangbet. That is the widest spread on any axis in this market, and it is the reason the deposit floor carries points in the index while the game library carries none.

The deposit floor, book by book

What it costs to be paid

one of the nine publishes a charge on the way out. four publish nothing at all about charges, which is not the same as free and is not printed as free here.

Charges, and the levy that no longer applies

What caps a large win

The binding ceiling is not set by a bookmaker. A minimum-KYC mobile money wallet cannot receive more than GH₵3,000 in a day or GH₵10,000 in a month, and splitting a payout across days does not get round the monthly one.

Ceilings, from the wallet to the accumulator

What the state takes

Nothing, today. A ten per cent withholding on gross winnings ran from 2023 until it was repealed on 2 April 2025, and the transfer levy on mobile money went the same day under a separate act. Any page here covering a period before that date says so.

What was withheld, and when it stopped

What this publication refuses to do

Three standing refusals

It does not score a game library. Of the criteria in the index, the lobby carries zero. Eleven of the thirteen catalogues trading here cannot be counted from outside Ghana, so a games weight would be an ordering manufactured out of a gap in everybody's research. The points it would have carried sit on the deposit floor instead.

It does not claim to have timed anything. No cash out on this site was timed by this desk. Every speed figure is what an operator or a third party published, and the stamp beside it says which.

It does not carry lottery results. Lottery phrases are 579,100 searches a month against 175,100 for sports betting, and this desk has no results feed. The lottery page says so and points outward.
